KnowledgeCore Software was incorporated in 2002 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of
Schoolhouse Software. The company’s roots date back to 1984 with the introduction
of the Adult Information Management (AIM) system, a software suite that became an
industry standard for student information management at adult and vocational education
schools. AIM was continually improved over the years up until 1998 when a whole new
development effort was launched. This resulted in the introduction of AIM-Student
Relationship Management™ (AIM-SRM) in 2002, an enterprise-wide information system for
managing adult and vocational/career schools that is the first of its kind in the nation.
Today, adult and vocational/career school directors at some of the largest schools
in the country rely on AIM-SRM software to improve program quality, optimize funding
and operate more competitive schools. AIM-SRM is heavily data-driven and designed
around the concepts of assessment, achievement and accountability. AIM-SRM captures
correct demographic data in a centralized database, and provides adult school
administrators, teachers and counselors with instant access to student information
and class rosters. Access to AIM-SRM is seamlessly provided from virtually any client
device via the Internet or any network, enabling proactive decisions to be made on
how best to serve their students.
